a snake in the grass

on one of my last nights in NTU, i nearly stepped on this little snake. it was in the middle of the pavement, but it quickly slithered into the grass. four years ago, when i first came to NTU and stayed in hall, my mum told me it's not safe to walk around at night cos there are snakes around. i din really believe her but.. guess what mum, i finally saw one! =)
